New Mexico Photographer lands in Abiquiu, NM. THIS WAS THE COOLEST SHOOOOOT! So we did this crazy thing once. We co-hosted a FREE OVERNIGHT ADVENTURE GLAMPING ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY GIVE-AWAY with Desert Harbor Retreat. We cast for a real couple who really wanted to get married, for this adventure elopement of a lifetime. The stars aligned.

Enter Amina & Alex, the coolest, chillest, dopest couple of them all. It was as though they were plucked from the heavens to accompany us on the craziest expedition we’ve ever entertained attempting. Out of the wood work also came crazy vendors like Amy G with Rust Vintage, Melissa with Renegade Floral, Brandon and Jenn with KitFox and Dig & Serve. Before we knew it, we were setting the stage for a 50K event, out in the middle of Somewhere New Mexico. This was essentially the warm-up shoot for that event, and they did not disappoint. Ahhhh, such good memories! Moments like these are exactly what make being a New Mexico Photographer such an incredible experience.

One of our favorite things to do as a New Mexico Photographer is take a couple to new locations they’ve never been. These epic New Mexico adventures create the most lasting memories. Our style for photographing these adventures is a blend of just simply EXPLORING and taking each opportunity to capture moments and experiences over poses and looks.

The first question most couples ask us is “So will you tell us what to do?” We always laugh and say, “Of course! But be sure to just BE YOU!” If you’re on an adventure, and moving from point A to point B, photographing all the in between the result is the most amazing candid REAL photographs you could ask for. The worst thing we can do as photographers is put you in awkward, unnatural poses that look staged.

Amina & Alex are totally up for anything. When I said, “Hey Alex, are you down to take your shirt off?” He was like, “HECK YA!” And the rest is history. Serendipity is our best friend on these photo adventures, and as a New Mexico Photographer, we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Being a New Mexico Photographer means that you’re ready to get dirty. Ready to explore the landscape. Ready to get some grit in your teeth. Ready to get some sand in your lenses. Ready to explore and shoot everything along the way.
