What clients are saying...

First and foremost we are story tellers.  Over time we've realized that we not only have a knack for taking quality photographs, but we also a natural talent to connect with people in ways that allow them to feel comfortable and natural. We work really hard to get to the most picturesque locations possible so that each photo becomes a literal piece of art.

Emotion. Capturing love, crying, laughter, reminiscing, joy, friendship, and bonds is key to the success of our work. We love catching people during these pinnacles of emotion. These are split second moments that you only get one opportunity to catch and they are priceless.

Frequently asked

If you know you're getting married in a year or less, the best time to do your engagement session is now! Not only will it help you be ahead of the game with announcements and such, but it will also give you some marketing power for your big day to keep your social feeds poppin'!

When is the best time to schedule Engagement Photos?

Although we don't claim to be fashion stylists, we do try to keep our Pinterest boards up to date with what we think are the cutest, most current wardrobe combinations. We alway recommend that our clients create a idea board for their session. It’s a great way to bounce ideas off of us, and to make sure we’re on the same page going into the shoot!

What should we wear to our Engagement Session?

We always start booking dates at least one year in advance. We are typically booked for the year by January/February of that year. If you feel a connection with our style and our approach to telling wedding stories, we should chat sooner than later!

How far in advance do we need to book a Wedding?

Frequently asked

We are booking weddings at least a year in advance and recommend that if you're getting married anytime between June and October, to consider booking sooner than later. We are close to being completely booked for the following year by November - December.

When is the best time to book your photographer or videographer?

Of course! We are not a one size fits all company, and although we have tried to put together what we feel are perfect varying levels of coverage, we quite often will custom tweak a package to fit specific coverage or budget needs. The best first step is to let us know exactly what you want!

Can we customize a Wedding Collection to fit our coverage needs and budget?

Most of the weddings we do these days are destination weddings in locations that require us to travel. There may or may not be an additional fee, depending on the package, location, and scenario. In other words, if it's in our best interest for portfolio purposes to offset the travel costs, we're more than willing to do it. Generally speaking, we do not charge additional travel fees to locations within a 90 mile radius of Farmington, NM.

Are there any additional fees for travel?

Frequently asked

A $600 deposit is required to reserve a date on our calendar. Deposits are non-refundable. If for any reason you need to cancel your wedding, or reschedule for a date that we do not have available, if we have done your engagement photos as part of your package, you will be charged for that session on top of the deposit.

How much do you charge to book a date for a Wedding?

We try to! Drone footage is the coolest. It really will depend on time opportunity and weather, but we generally always try to get some drone footage. If you are willing or want us to fly a drone during your ceremony…we’re all about it!

Do you fly a drone at every Wedding?

The best time to have your ceremony depends entirely on much time you will need for photos before dinner. If you are not planning on having a first look, you will need at a minimum of 1 hour for all family, wedding party, and formal photos after the ceremony. In that scenario we are racing to get everything covered before you check in to the reception. There are pro and cons to first looks, but they alway afford more time for photos, and an earlier check in to your reception. If possible, we ALWAYS try to sneak the couple out just after they eat for some gorgeous golden hour shots.

What's the best time to have a Wedding Ceremony?

Frequently asked

Yes! Our premium photobooth is the Mercedes of photobooth’s. It’s extremely mobile, works in all environments, prints unlimited beautiful 4X6 images and saves all the digital negatives which we edit and provide as part of your final image collection.

Does your Freekbox Photobooth print photos and save digital copies?

Yes! This happens more than you would think. Weddings are an expensive investment and sometimes it takes time to figure out exactly what your budget is for photography & video. If you know you want to work with us, it is smart to book your date and then decide soon after exactly what type of coverage your want.

Can I put a deposit down to reserve a date even though I don’t know exactly what package we want?

4 shooters at your wedding is literally the best case scenario. We have WAY more creative latitude when we can cover more angles with multiple cameras. Ceremonies and toasts especially with regards to video, become way more interesting with multiple cameras.

What are the advantage of having 2 Photographers and/or 2 Videographers covering my Wedding?

Frequently asked

A "first look" is when the bride & groom have chosen to see each other, normally in an intimate setting, before the actual wedding ceremony. This has become a popular trend and it has it's benefits. The photos are amazing. The bride doesn't have to think or worry about the way she's walking/looking as she comes down the isle. In some instances it feels almost more personal than the first time a groom sees his bride in her dress for the first time. Also, it does afford an opportunity to take tons of photos and video that would normally have to happen in the small window of time between the ceremony and the reception dinner. We don't have a preference. We like it both ways!

What is a First Look?

We highly recommend having a planner, coordinator, or designer that can help you do what you would never be able to do on your own. Despite our best efforts, stress shows in photos. The least amount of stress you have going into your wedding day, the better. A rock star wedding coordinator can take so much off your plate, and can keep the pace, flow, and style of wedding in check.
