We couldn’t be more grateful to have participated in this gorgeous mountain top destination wedding in Durango Colorado. It was held at Dantes Peak at Purgatory Resort. Along with the incredible style and design of this Colorado Wedding, Brooke & Cameron were absolutely stunning. THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE GETTING MARRIED AT DANTES PEAK

As Colorado destination adventure wedding photographers, we are constantly craving mountain adventures! When you choose to get married at Dantes, of course you’re doing it for the Colorado Mountain Views. And while that setting is spectacular, it’s important to elevate the venue with a little bit of design and styling. At the end of the day, it is just a ski lodge that gets converted into a wedding venue part of the year, but that’s also what makes a Colorado Destination Dantes Wedding so unique and memorable. It’s not an ideal location for things like Getting Ready photos. It can be pulled off, but a ski lodge locker room is never a beautiful scene for a gorgeous bride to be photographed for the first time. Brooke was gorgeous enough that we were able to pull off some amazing photos here, but it’s definitely not recommended.

STYLE & DESIGN

While the Colorado mountain backdrop is gorgeous, the paver filled spot where most ceremonies transpire if left alone is nothing special. We loved how much Brooke was able to elevate that space with the gorgeous Aprils Garden florals and the wood arbor. To be able to frame the couple in something exquisite against that picturesque backdrop was pure magic, making this Colorado Destination Dantes Wedding truly unforgettable.
