New Mexico Wedding Photographers in Red River with MacKenzie & Jason

We are grateful to call ourselves New Mexico Wedding Photographers. When you first travel in to the mountains in Red River, New Mexico, it is jaw-dropping how gorgeous it is.  I remember meeting MacKenzie up at the top of the Red River Ski Resort.  She was giddy with excitement.  People don’t typically think of epic mountain ranges when they think of New Mexico, but when you get around Eagle Nest, Angel Fire, Taos, and Red River, you get an entirely new perspective of NM.

The home base for this wedding was at The Double Dog Inn.  This Inn is perfect for larger family groups set right on the river.  Deer will walk up and eat out of your hand.  It’s pretty amazing!!!

We had a blast shooting both the girls and guys getting ready in the lodge.  The bear was CLASSIC!

When the wedding kicked off, Ry Tyler was on acoustic guitar, and the ambience with all their guests was perfection. As New Mexico Wedding Photographers, we’re lucky to have access to such diverse terrain and breathtaking landscapes that make every moment unforgettable. A lot of times, we find ourselves on the outside looking in, just thinking, “Wow! How are we lucky enough to be here right now?” Red River is just that—a “pinch yourself” moment.

Of course, MacKenzie and Jason are drop-dead gorgeous, so it made photographing their wedding a breeze. We couldn’t get enough of it all up at the Red River Ski Resort in the summer! It’s days like these that remind us why being New Mexico Wedding Photographers is such a dream come true.
