We're Paul & Katie McPherson, owners / founders of Shutterfreek® We're truly best friends and have been married 16+ years. We started the Shutterfreek® brand in 2009. We have 3 amazing kids (Nora, Kayl, Asa), 1 golden doodle (Millie), 1 bearded dragon (Rex) & 1 hedgehog (Dart).
As our kids have grown we've decided to take more time from our summers back and are doing less weddings & elopements (only about 20'ish a year). We have diversified our focus and now spend the majority of our time creating lifestyle content for commercial brands. (But we will always live to tell love stories.)
As long as we have a camera in hand and are doing some type of story telling that is lifestyle, the human connection or adventure based content... we're happy campers. ⛺️
We’re passionate travelers and ready to shoot anywhere for adventure, but our base is right in the heart of the Southwest. From our backyard we have access to the most breathtaking locations within a 300-mile radius.
